In August 2019, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) awarded a cooperative agreement to The Sequoia Project to serve as the Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE) to support implementation of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). The Sequoia Project has made great strides in meeting the goals and objectives outlined in the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
